Microsoft & Comtech Building
QUAD studio has been evolving our concept of collective social intervention collaborating with Artists, Botanists, and Designers something we call “The Collective Polymath”.

Kelvin Chu, QUAD Founding Partner guiding designer in Shenzhen studio
“This concept runs deep inside our design philosophy, so much that when considering establishing our new office in Shenzhen, we decided that this venture should be in the form of a collaboration . Creative engineering approach to design opens up a fresh approach to the discourse we call design, we believe only a Collective Polymath could bring to any design solution. With this notion, we decided to collaborate with RFR! ”
RFR is one of the most creative façade engineers in the world and we also share the same dynamic passion towards creative design. Collaboration with RFR is only the beginning in our venture and in the future, we are open to continue our collaboration with other creative artist and designers creating a platform to Rethink the Big Idea.
Project collaborated by QUAD X RFR
With the design of our Shenzhen Office, we kept with our philosophy of creating a studio that reflects purity and simpleness and yet, we added accent colours of petrol blue and champagne gold to interplay with our existing monochrome material pallet as a first step into polychromatic design.
