The Panel was particularly impressed by Wai’s innovative and multi-award-winning projects, which consistently integrate sustainability and creativity at their core. This Fellowship celebrates his vision, leadership, and enduring impact on the profession, acknowledging his role in advancing architecture as both an art form and a social responsibility.

The list of 2026 RIBA Fellow Membership
RIBA lead architects serve the needs of the public through building awareness of the role of architects and architecture. The Institute aims to advance architectural scholarship, elevate design standards, and uphold professional standards for architects. Only 11 have been elected as Fellow Membership in the 2026 RIBA Fellow cohort, Including Keith Griffiths, Founder and Chair of Aedas, and Alison Brooks, Founder of Alison Brooks Architects.
